I am holotropic breathwork facilitator, and continue to do this transformative breathwork myself.
However I ,and many other suffer from a particular form of trauma of omission which is very difficult to heal from. Stan Grof is the only therapist I have heard of that discusses this. He found a very effective Somatic method for this common condition of anaclitic deprivation, where one's early developmental attachment needs were severely unmet- a Trauma of Omission.
Joyce Martin and Pauline McCririck developed the Somatic Fusion tecnique in th 1960's. which was very effective for this particular and common trauma.
Grof discusses it on page 40 of his book
LSD Psychotherapy.
Does anyone in this community know of this tecnique still being offered anywhere in the world?
